About Me
My name is Robyn Klingelhoefer.
I am an enthusiastic movie lover and adventure seeker.
I have a passion for video editing, working on set, and connecting with others in the film industry. I pride myself in my ability to adapt and learn quickly. I love creative, hands-on experience and collaborating with like-minded individuals.
My Journey
2009 - 2012
From a very young age, I knew I was a creative individual. I spent time editing amateur music videos for my YouTube channel (what is cringe to some are my humble beginnings).
2012-2016
In high school, I honed in on my film studies. Being a member of Smithtown High School West's film club, I regularly created scripts and short films to bide my time.
2016 - 2020
I soon enrolled in SUNY New Paltz where I collaborated with my peers on higher level projects. In my college years, I created a multitude of content from documentaries to narrative short films. Every year I participated in a 48 hour film festival, and one year, our film placed third. In my later college years, I worked alongside a professor who employed me to help her with her feature documentary, Beyond Shelter, where I learned how to organize content and crowdfund for indie film projects.
2020-2024
After college, I landed a job at Cineverse, an entertainment company specializing in the licensing and distribution of content. Here, I worked on honing my skills of video editing and creative strategy. Currently, I hold a position in digital marketing and social media where I regularly collaborate with my colleagues to pump out engaging media.
Where to go from here?
If there is one thing I have learned throughout my life, it is that I have a fierce ability to try - to throw myself into situations and learn - to build up my experience, excel at those projects, and find where I am meant to be. I am an organized individual with a critical eye for creative content, spanning across video, audio, and written work. I am keen on widening my skillset through first-hand experience. I know I can do anything I set my mind to, and if you give me a chance, I can prove that to you.
